SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2025: INFRASTRUCTURE ASSET MANAGEMENT INTERN

We are looking for interns to join our Infrastructure Asset Management team for summer 2025! This is your chance to work with innovative technologies and contribute to vital infrastructure projects in Finland and Sweden.

💚 What kind of work awaits you?

As an intern in Infrastructure Asset Management, you will:

• Measure and analyze road infrastructure conditions using cutting-edge laser-based technology.
• Work in pairs, alternating between driving and operating specialized equipment in measurement vehicles.
• Conduct pavement condition measurements on road networks in Finland or Sweden.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy of collected data.
• Maintain and operate measurement equipment as part of your daily work.

The position involves travel, with seven-day work shifts followed by seven days off, offering a flexible work-life balance. For Finland-based interns, training starts in mid-March, with work running from April to September. For Sweden-based interns, training starts in late April, with work running from May to September.

Your salary will follow Destia’s collective agreement, considering your completed coursework and any relevant experience. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in asset management while contributing to projects that improve infrastructure quality and sustainability.

• Ongoing university studies in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, transportation, or data analysis).
• A valid B-category driver’s license and prior experience driving larger vehicles such as vans.
