We are looking for an self-driven and development-oriented
VALUE PROPOSITION MANAGER
to join Metsä Tissue's sales team in a permanent position.
What do you get to do?
In this role you get to establish the four cornerstones, “Unique Sustainability”, “Smart Brands and Offering”, “Reliable Supply Chain” and “Visionary Cooperation”, of Metsä Tissue Value Proposition across the organization. You will implement our Value Proposition as the key value-based sales argument in the sales organization and towards our customers.
Your main duties and responsibilities include:
- Developing value selling competence through value proposition in the sales organization and across the whole Metsä Tissue e.g. via organizing a competence development program and related trainings, creating tools and templates for sales use, and supporting sales with relevant communication materials
- Supporting and attending selected key customer meetings to collect feedback and develop value proposition concept and communication story
- Acting as a sustainability owner in Sales & Marketing core process and member of Metsä Tissue’s Sustainability Steering team
- Benchmarking Metsä Tissue’s sustainability approach in tissue category towards competitors and linking the results to value proposition
- Participating in internal and external sustainability forums on needs basis
You report to SVP, Central Europe. The position can be located in Espoo, Mänttä, Zilina, Krapkowice, Mariestad, Pauliström, Kreuzau or Raubach.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic professional who is eager to develop our value proposition concept and understands it’s importance as part of profitable growth strategy. You are willing to take initiative and ownership, and approach things analytically and precisely. You are able to work collaboratively in a team environment and have solid leadership and interpersonal skills to successfully influence people in a matrix organization.
In order to succeed you:
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business.
- Have +3 years of relevant experience in Sales.
- Have sustainability management related experience and/or knowledge.
- Have high development orientation and good leadership skills in networks.
- Are able to communicate complex content and findings to stakeholders in an understandable way.
- Have good project management and presentation skills.
- Are capable of working as a change agent in own area of expertise, and use your skills effectively to train others.
- Are fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Have high-readiness to travel (up to 30% of time).
