Metsa Group continues to renew. As a continuum of Metsä Group process harmonization, we are running a ERP+ project where we are replacing our old enterprise resource planning systems with a new SAP S4 Hana solution and upgrading other related systems. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced
PROCESS MANAGER – PRODUCTION
to join our production development team at Metsä Tissue and to reinforce our ERP+ project team.
What is the job that awaits you?
As a Process Manager you will be responsible for our production processes in the ERP+ project. You will for example be working with manufacturing execution system (MES) related changes and the deployment of our new ERP system.
Together with your colleagues from Production Development team you will also coordinate the development portfolio of our production processes and ensure that the activities are supporting the business processes.
The chosen person will get a first-hand opportunity to develop a common Metsä Group ERP solution together with other Metsä Business areas and group processes. In addition, you have an opportunity to get pervasive understanding of Metsä production processes, operations and systems. Giving a good basis for further process and system development in the long run.
In this role you will report to Metsä Tissue Development Director, Production and your main locations can be one of Metsä Tissue mill locations, Tampere or headquarters at Espoo.
Responsibility areas:
- Working as production representative in the project organization in different stages of the project
- Collecting and communicating business requirements and prerequisites in the project
- Implementing harmonized manufacturing processes
- Ensuring fluent flow of information among different stakeholders
- Ensuring successful change management on your own responsibility area
- Reinforcing information transfer from ERP+ project to business areas
- Designing and coordinating the preparation of training materials to production organizations
- Validating and confirming the readiness of the implementation process
- Continuing to develop processes and systems
What are we expecting of you?
We expect previous experience in production processes’ operational and/or development functions. You must have development orientated attitude and strong understanding of manufacturing execution. Previous experience in the wood products industry is considered an advantage, as is experience with automation systems. Management of entities, independent problem-solving ability, desire to evolve and develop are primary in this position. Interaction, change management and negotiation skills, the ability to see things through and responsible thinking are important to succeed in this position.
We expect good written and spoken English skills. We also expect good IT skills and experience in utilizing and developing them.
The position requires willingness to travel.
