We are looking for

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

for Metsä Group’s maritime logistics service center (MLSC) in Espoo.

Service center provides maritime logistics and ports coordination related services to our business areas and cooperates with stakeholders. In MLSC, logistics professionals play a key role in developing high-quality maritime logistics services and creating consistent way of working. Your role in the future Metsä

As logistics coordinator, you will perform short-term logistics planning (sales order and capacity balancing). Daily operations like processing maritime transport requests, making bookings and delivery follow-ups are part of your tasks. In addition, you perform logistics invoice checks,  manage logistics supplier quality deviations and maintain logistics master data in various systems. You are in the key role to solve daily issues and to ensure high service level and quality of our deliveries. You participate actively in the cooperation with port operators and shipping lines and contribute also to continuous improvement of the maritime logistics processes, tools and ways of working.

What are we looking for?

You have relevant education e.g. bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business or technology. You have at least 3 years of working experience in logistics or supply chain in manufacturing or shipping environment and you understand maritime logistics.

We value your customer service and teamwork attitude as well as process orientation. You have ability to work under pressure and balance between multiple priorities. You have good written and spoken English skills, knowledge of any other Metsä Group local languages is an asset. Your experience in ERP and transportation management systems is regarded as an advantage.
