What kind of summer job awaits you?

The scope of your work at Metsä Group will be varied and offer a wide range of learning opportunities. The tasks range from routine and assisting assignments to larger projects with more responsibility and development work carried out independently, depending on your own experience and willingness to develop your competencies.

Customer Feedback Centre is located at Excellence Centre in Äänekoski.  Our operations consist of product quality related feedback handling from EMEA market area, 1st leg transport damage handling and Sample Service.

In feedback handling your main stakeholders are customers, technical service at board mills in Finland and Sweden, Technical Service at EMEA market area, Metsä Board Customer Service and your own team.

In 1st leg transport damage handling you will work in close co-operation with external transportation companies and Supply Chain.

In Sample Service, you will manage our A4 unprinted sample storage, coordinate sample reel orders and make sample shipments according to requests, mostly to customers globally. 

This summer we will hire a summer trainee both to product feedback handling and Sample Service.
 

What are we expecting of you?

We expect you to be reliable, flexible, proactive and cooperative. We value your ability to work independently, and your willingness to learn and develop on the job.

Knowledge of MS Office programs is essential. SAP knowledge is an advantage. The position requires good English skills. Other language skills are considered as an asset.

The role suits best to a student with paperboard production or logistics related studies at a university or applied sciences level, but all applications will be considered.

Anonymous recruitment – this is how it works

This is an anonymous recruitment process. The gender and date of birth of the applicant are not asked for on the application form. Personal details such as name, mother tongue, time of studies, name of educational institution and contact details are hidden until the interview stage. Attachments (such as CVs) are also hidden.

Recruiters have access to the contact details of those invited for interview once the applicant has been selected for interview.

Our system will guide you through the application process. The questions on the application form will help you present your skills and experience anonymously. Answer all questions carefully. If you’re invited for interview, your CV will be displayed to the recruiters to support the interview.

The preferred times for phone calls are on Tuesdays at 12-16 EET and on Thursdays at 13-15 EET. Because the application process is anonymous, we don’t record any information about people who contact us.

Note that attachments won’t be visible in anonymous recruitment until the interview stage, so it’s important to fill in the application form carefully. We process applications and select summer employees already during the application period.
