We are looking for
SOLUTION EXPERT, SAP PP and VC
to join us in the Metsä Group ICT Application Services, Supply Chain team with support and continuous improvement focus in Espoo or Tampere.
What will you get to do?
The main responsibility area in this role is the application support services of SAP Manufacturing Execution and Variant Configuration solutions. In Manufacturing Execution process area we are using SAP Production Planning (PP) which is tightly integrated to factory MES solutions. We are also using Variant Configurator (VC) to define Make-to-Order products’ dimensions according to customer specifications. As a Solution Expert, you’ll have opportunities to build your expertise and develop toward a Solution Designer role in the future.
In this role you will join to Supply Chain AMS team. You are responsible for solution support and ensure Manufacturing Execution and Variant Configurator solutions end-to-end availability across Metsä business areas, as well participate to continuous improvement activities. You will ensure successful handover from project to AMS and work closely with our solution partners to coordinate resolving of the incidents created by business key users. In addition, you will work as Group Key user on your process area and lead business area level key user network. You will take care of ensuring group alignment for common shared processes, data and systems.
You work closely with all Metsä business areas, solution & process development, other IT teams as well with our support and implementation partners. You will control the progress of incident resolution and ensure the quality of the support provided by our solution partner and monitor that SLA targets are achieved. You will identify improvement opportunities by understanding business processes, Metsä common solutions and industry requirements, standards and best practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as Solution Expert in Manufacturing Execution and Variant Configurator processes
- Lead business area level Key User network
- Coordinate common group level trainings and creation of common training materials
- Coordinate application support, ensuring the quality of incident resolution and achievement of SLA targets
- Coordinate and execute Key user trainings and create training materials
- Manage bug fixies and standard changes
- Provide development proposals based on incident / problem management findings
- Participate to continuous development and solution testing
- Coordinate the service transition from development to support organization
What kind of skills are we looking for?

In addition we hope you to have:
- Hands-on experience with SAP PP, experience from SAP VC is considered as a strong asset.
- Experience in supporting or developing business-critical applications.
- Familiarity with the make-to-order production process.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Finnish skills are considered an asset.
- Experience in SAP Master Data management is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP IBP, PP/DS, EWM, Fiori, and/or MES solutions is considered an asset.
