Cloud Engineer 

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer for permanent and full-time employment. 

Are you familiar with modern application development? Are you inspired to develop automated cloud infrastructure, tools and methods for application development? 

Veikkaus’ cloud infra team is growing to enhance, scale and speed up our application development. We have consolidated most of the gaming systems to public cloud environments, which will be further developed for integration, automation, and security.

We invite you to join our supportive and highly professional cloud infra team, whose key objective is to develop and maintain high class cloud environment and platforms for application development teams. 

We expect following:

• awareness of modern application development process/environment
• experience in public cloud platforms e.g. GCP and AWS
• knowhow of infrastructure as a code development with Terraform or Python/Node
• knowledge of container technology (e.g. Docker)

Beneficial experience:

• GitLab or similar tools know-how 
• knowledge of Kubernetes
• infrastructure, security, monitoring/logging know-how
• application or script/tools development practical experience

Our office is located in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki, Finland, but also remote working is possible. Please note that the job requires a valid residence permit from all non-EU citizens.
