Metsä Board is looking for
SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST
to its Product Safety & Sustainability team. In the position, you will be a member of our sustainability team offering assistance to both internal as well as external stakeholders. As Sustainability Specialist you will report to Director, Product Safety and Sustainability and work closely with other team members. You will also cooperate with other internal functions and some external stakeholders. The position is located in Espoo, Finland.
Your role in the future Metsä
Your main responsibilities are
carry out product specific environmental impact calculations and comparisons
deliver sustainability services to our customers & participate in customer co-operation
support Metsä Board’s business by providing communication material and answers to sustainability related questions from different stakeholders
offer training in sustainability related topics to both internal and external stakeholders
What are we looking for?
We expect you to have a position relevant academic degree (environment, sustainability, energy). Experience from tasks related to environmental and product related calculations (e.g. product-related LCAs) is an advantage. The work will include active customer co-operation as well as sustainability communication. You are customer focused, service minded and have the ability to master even complex issues. Experience from ESG ratings is seen as an asset.
To be successful in this position you need to have a customer-oriented approach, good communication, networking and co-operation skills as well as a persistent and logical working style. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required, additional language skills are appreciated.
