Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an Indoor Sales Manager to Fairs, Events and Special Logistics (FESL), Cluster Nordics, for a permanent employment. You will be an important part of our Nordic FESL team, with members in three different countries and covering all five market areas in the Nordics. The job location is flexible within our Nordic offices in Copenhagen, Vantaa, Oslo, Gothenburg or Stockholm. Please indicate your potential location(s) as part of your application.
As Indoor Sales Manager, you are responsible for selling/offering DB Schenker's product and service offering with a focus on Fairs, Events and Special Logistics in all Nordic countries.
You have a strong focus on finding new customers and contribute to increased sales by establishing new business relationships. The role includes occasionally travelling in Nordics and Europe.
- You must be well versed in our customer's business and its industry affiliation as a whole.
- Your work takes place through goal-directed activities, negotiations and renegotiations with our customers.
- You are also responsible for the execution of activity plans, business plans and for continuously working according to set goals and guidelines.
- You are responsible for contracts and contract writing as well as documenting agreed transport services.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you need to be motivated by goals and performance management and a lot of personal responsibility, but we also put great importance to your personal qualities and value great commitment and people who believe in the power of teamwork.
What are we looking for:
- Preferably you have experience of successful service sales both through F2F-meetings and digital channels.
- You are committed and results-oriented with a high level of ambition.
- You are flexible, solution-oriented and used to making decisions.
- You are a trust-inspiring and relationship-building person with high social skills and an interest in people.
- You are used to working independently but also in teams.
- Knowledge in logistics, Fairs and Exhibition is considered as an advantage.
- Used to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
- Have good computer skills (You can use Excel and Powerpoint, and if you have experience with CRM systems, it is an advantage).
- You speak and write fluently two of the Nordic languages and English.
