We are looking for an HR MANAGER to join our Metsä Tissue HR team in Espoo.

What will you get to do?

As a HR Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of harmonized HR processes across Metsä Tissue and providing efficient and value-adding HR expertise to support managers and employees at our head office with various different HR topics.

In this role, you get to combine global and local perspectives as you will be managing  global HR processes across the business area while ensuring also high-quality execution of the processes and operative HR support locally.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing and following up global HR processes such performance management and compensation processes across Metsä Tissue
• Implementation of employee engagement survey and related communication, follow-up of development measures across Metsä Tissue
• Supporting in Metsä Tissue and Metsä Group HR projects
• Ownership of Metsä Tissue HR data and authorization structure in HR system
• Ownership of Metsä Tissue HR key performance indicators reporting and related development
• Providing day-to-day HR support and advise to managers and employees related to HR processes such as recruitments, onboarding, workability, competence development and performance management
• Coordination of European Works Council cooperation

You will be located in Espoo head office and report to HR Manager, Metsä Tissue. This is a fixed-term role until spring 2026.

What are we expecting of you?

We are looking for a self-driven and solution-oriented team player who is eager to learn and interest to grow into an international HR role. You have a proactive way of working and hands on attitude. You are flexible, well-organized and result-oriented. You are excellent in building effective relationships with your stakeholders across all organisational levels and you adapt easily into new environments and situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required and Finnish is seen as a benefit.

We expect you to have to have B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant field of study and few years’ of experience in HR. You have a good knowledge of HR systems (preferably Workday), and you are proficient with MS Office. You have knowledge of global HR practices, Finnish employment legislation and regulations. Some travelling is expected in this role (approx. once a month).
