Who you are
We are looking for a competent, result driven team leader to our cash line and children's playroom departments in IKEA Tampere for full-time (37.5h/week) & permanent position. You see things a little differently. So do we. We are looking for IKEA value based leader to help us secure our future growth in Customer Relations Team. What you need to have
- A proven record of leadership and well considered decision making who excels in a fast-paced retail environment. You get extra points for commercial education.
-You are capable of motivating and leading your team by setting expectations and leading by example on the shopfloor with your team members.
-You are result driven with a strong customer focus.
- You are good at prioritizing and organizing work using commercial priorities in order to make the most efficient use of time.
- Ability to work both independently and together with your managers and team members. You dare to do things in a different way, and you are not afraid to do mistakes, and you dare to question established practices.
- You speak and write fluently both in Finnish and in English.
Most importantly, you have a real desire to help customers and exceed their expectations. We want our customers to come back as our guests over and over again.
Your responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you are responsible for the operations, efficiency, and service level of the cash department and the children's playroom and its operations and the personnel. You're also responsible of the development of operations with the Checkout Services Manager.
- You will work on cash line and children's playroom where you lead by example every day, supporting, challenging, and coaching co-workers.
- Together with the team, you focus on putting the customer at first in everything you do. The goal is to exceed the customer expectations on daily basis and to make shopping as easy as possible for the customers.
- You take responsibility for planning, budgeting, and developing your team to keep the team motivated and they have the knowledge and tools to perform their job in the best possible way.
- Together with your manager, you take responsibility for your department goals and ensure your action plan is in place and communicated clearly to the team.
- You follow up customer feedback in daily basics and take actions accordingly by using proven solutions and good examples to secure best possible customer service in the store.
- As a Team Leader you have a wide range of responsibilities and you are working in a fast-paced operational environment, so you need to react positively to changes and adapt yourself in rapidly changing circumstances to lead your team.
We hope you to optimize the IKEA shopping experience in the store to secure satisfied customers and increase stores sales. You do this by motivating and inspiring your team using knowledge of the customer services, the local market and IKEA customers. You use IKEA tools and the expertise of your team and colleagues to support you.
