We are looking to strengthen our team with a restaurant manager. You would be working closely with our other restaurant manager + team leaders and kitchen department. Employment will start in October until end of March. We offer full hours 112,5h/3 week. Salary will be negotiated separately.

Our ideal candidate:

- Has relevant education, training, and previous experience

- You keep a positive spirit and have previous experience leading a team successfully

- Alcohol serving and Food & hygiene pass is considered as a plus, but we can arrange it if needed

- Knowledge about using cash register

- Efficient in handling food and beverage items including Special diet information

- Proficiency in handling payments

- Good understanding with Policies and procedures of the organization regarding safety, security, and emergency issues

- Advantage: Previous experience working in a large restaurant or resort/cruise ship/hotel restaurant

- Positive attitude in stressful situations

- Flexible in working different shifts

- Good customer service skills

- Team leading skills and capability to create positive energy and motivation with own actions. Also capability to create and maintain trust between you and your colleagues.

- Strong team work skills

- Good communication skills also in stressful situations (We hope that the spirit is good also during busier time, no shouting to others etc.)

We have two restaurants serving our customers during the winter season, in East Village and in West Village. Both restaurants can fit several hundreds of customers.

The location of the resort is in the middle of lovely nature, and here you also have time to enjoy nature and try different activities that you might never get to try otherwise. We have also a small gym for our staff, and possibilities to try cross country skiing and other winter activities.

It is possible to rent an apartment through us, so it is easy to join us where ever you are coming from. Apartments are for two people. In terms of employment, we follow the collective agreement of the tourism and restaurant industry, and the salary is according to the agreement, considering the applicant's previous experience and education.
