As a Technical Writer, your main focus will be on creating and maintaining operation and maintenance manuals and work cards for products supported by Technical Information. You will ensure the content is presented in a manner that is easy for our customers to understand and will help them optimize the efficiency and performance of their Wärtsilä products. While collaboration with your team and other internal stakeholders will be essential, you will also engage in independent work, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of technical information across various product variants.

Work tasks

• Create and maintain Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Work cards for our products
• Ensure clarity in all content produced
• Tailor content for various product variants to meet customer needs
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for content development and updates

We are looking for

• Relevant educational background
• Strong technical writing experience
• Technical orientation and eagerness to learn and develop
• Excellent command of English, both written and oral

Experience or knowledge of DITA CCMS (e.g., Skribenta, IXIA), engineering, and/or content/revision management are seen as advantageous.
