We are looking for a
SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST
for Metsä Fibre’s Business Development Competence Centre for a permanent position.
Your role in the future Metsä
As sustainability specialist, you will support Metsä Fibre’s Customership and R&D in sustainability related questions. You will, for example, answer customer inquiries regarding product and chemical safety, do carbon calculations and sustainability reporting as well as support new product and process development in sustainability questions. You act as part of a professional and supportive Business development team in close cooperation with Sales and Technical customer service as well as Metsä Fibre’s other professionals.
You will report to the VP, Research. Your location will be at our headquarters in Espoo or Metsä Fibre’s pulp mills (Joutseno, Kemi, Rauma, Äänekoski).
What do we expect from you?
You have a suitable university degree in chemistry or similar with sufficient chemistry knowledge. Experience in sustainability reporting, carbon calculation or product safety is beneficial. You are interested in boosting the sustainable development in forest-based industrial value chains and willing to help our customers in that task. You are active team player with good networking ability. As a person, you are self-directed and precise in your work.
