What kind of summer job awaits you?

You will be a member of Sales & Operations Planning team. This team is focusing on global demand and supply to ensure a balanced alignment between market needs and operational capabilities, enabling more effective decision-making and resource management.

As a Data and AI Summer trainee you help optimize demand planning and supply forecasting for sustainable forestry operations. In this role, you’ll develop and refine AI-driven models to predict demand, assess supply chain needs, and improve accuracy, helping us make data-driven decisions in real time.

In this role you will

• Develop AI Models: Design, train, and implement machine learning models to optimize demand planning and forecast timber supply needs.

• Analyze Data: Work with large datasets to identify key trends and patterns that influence demand and inventory management.

• Improve Accuracy: Continuously refine models and strategies to enhance demand prediction accuracy and help drive data-driven decisions.

What are we expecting of you?

You are pursuing a degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related field and have proficiency with Python and machine learning libraries. Fluency in English is required. Familiarity with demand planning or predictive analytics is an advantage.
