About the role
Our Marine Service & Aftermarket Sales team is looking for a maternity leave substitute colleague until October 2025.
In this role, you are responsible for Marine service invoicing, and overdue collection activities for Marine S&AM, including related process development. As a Service and Aftermarket Specialist, you will ensure that finance-related processes and instructions for Marine S&AM sales are up-to-date and communicated efficiently to the team. You will work in close co-operation with Marine S&AM Sales and Field Operations teams, as well as Finance teams.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Ensuring on-time and accurate invoicing, following up, and reporting for Marine service visits, ensure the correctness and validity of the sales data
Credit hold process management and communication to the S&AM Sales team
Business front overdue invoice collections for S&AM operations
Acting as the main contact point between S&AM sales and Finance teams, clarifying unclear payments with Finance team
Handling all S&AM related reimbursements, supporting S&AM team in VAT and other tax exemption-related issues
To be successful in this role you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, logistics or other relevant field
Excellent communication ability with fluent English skills, both written and spoken
MS Office pack knowledge, familiarity with ERP systems
Sales and customer-oriented attitude
Ability to think and act independently and take initiative
Being able to work in a fast-changing environment with tight deadlines, working on multiple tasks at the same time
Detail-oriented, structured personality and excellent prioritization skills
Considered as an advantage:
Finnish language knowledge
Relevant Service & Aftermarket working experience
Marine industry experience
