PAYMENTS MANAGER
to lead our customer´s Payments team in Espoo, Finland.
Your primary responsibilities will encompass the supervision of the payments team, manage daily work assignments and operations, provide the leadership of a team of skilled professionals, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold precise payments accounts and sustain stakeholder relationships. You are not afraid to participate in day to day operational work if needed. In your position you will work closely with Global Financial Services' teams, regional finance managers, treasury and auditors.
Key responsibilities for the Payments Manager:
- Creating an inspiring environment with an open communication culture
- Defining team’s priorities and focus areas for the worth coming year
- Manage team’s assignments, workload, training, overall performance and feedback
- Oversee, develop and communicates processes performance KPIs and targets to internal & external stakeholders
- Promote and develop common working procedures, way of working and instructions
- Drive automation and digitalization solutions across all finance shared service processes
- Oversee process & system performance development road maps and drive SMEs toward common goals
- Drive optimized, standardized and scalable solutions for shared service processes
The best combination to success in this role:
- Previous experience in leading people as a line manager or leading virtual / project teams
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, bank accounting principles and cash management process
- Knowledge of global cash management
- Courage to drive change - question, develop and suggest improved ways of working and grow competency in a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, virtually and in person
- Fluency/full work proficiency in English and Finnish (written and spoken)
- Applicable education, e.g. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
The work will start at the beginning of August at the latest and will end on 31.1.2025, with the possibility of extension/permanent employment. The salary range for the fixed-term period is around 5000-5500€/month (flexible), thus, this is depending on your overall competencies and experience. We would gladly negotiate about it once we proceed.
