We are seeking an ERP/PLM Specialist for our client Convion, a leading company developing solid oxide fuel cell systems for power generation in industrial and commercial settings. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the information management systems (ERP, PLM) and serving as the primary system user. Success in this position requires strong IT skills combined with a solid understanding of technical design and engineering environments, as well as a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the information management systems (ERP, PLM), managing user access, and ensuring data accuracy and system integrity. You will work closely with the product development team to ensure these systems meet the needs of both the business and design teams. Additionally, you will serve as the main point of contact with IT partners, handle contract negotiations, drive system improvements, and provide technical support to colleagues as needed. The role also includes managing data outside of PLM.

Work tasks
- Develop and manage the information management system (ERP, PLM)
- Serve as the primary system administrator
- Ensure data integrity and manage user access
- Negotiate IT contracts and manage relationships with IT partners
- Provide technical support and system development over time
- Manage additional data storage systems (e.g., SharePoint) outside of the PLM environment
We are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering, IT)
- Proven experience in developing and managing information management systems, specially ERP and PLM solutions
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
It is meritorious if you have:
- Understanding of the interfaces and information flows between IT, product design, manufacturing and after sales
- Understanding in CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks), with a focus on system management and integration to ensure smooth workflows and collaboration
- It is considered an advantage if you have system specific knowledge in the following: SolidWorks, Aton and Lean Systems
Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
