GDO is responsible for maintaining and developing Granlund's data management infrastructure. We support the deployment of data-driven solutions and the development of expertise. We explore, experiment with, and develop AI applications that support business operations. The team's tools include, for example, MS Fabric, our own MLOps machine learning environment, as well as OpenAI and Copilot studios. Additionally, the team serves as the technical administrator for ValueFrame and M-Files.
As a data engineer trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on tasks such as
- Work and get familiar with the lates Microsoft technologies
- Develop your skills through work
- Collecting datasets that align with business needs
- Building, testing, and maintaining database pipeline architectures
- Working with business lines to understand company objectives and ensure data solutions meet these goals
To apply for the position, you should study Information Technology (or equivalent) as your main subject (Bachelor's or Master's degree). Our ideal candidate is super enthusiastic of developing IT solutions, always seeking to learn and grow, and has a high motivation to work as a team . You can also be a recent graduate who wants to kickstart your career. The working language is mixed English/Finnish and we expect you to have at least a basic knowledge of the Finnish language even though primary working language can be English.
Your workplace will be in our Jyväskylä office, where our experienced experts will be there to support you. After the initial orientation, we are very flexible with remote work.
