Career Planning Officer, Hanken International Talent

Hanken is looking for a Career Planning Officer, Hanken International Talent.
The position is based in the Team for Corporate Relations and Outreach, also responsible for career services, alumni relations, corporate relations and fundraising. You will work in close collaboration with e.g. Hanken marketing, student recruitment, study services and admissions team, and other internal and external stakeholders.
As the Career Planning Officer, Hanken International Talent you work holistically with international degree students’ integration to Finnish working life and the society at large.
The responsibilities include:
Coordinate and develop services that support international students’ integration
Represent Hanken in Talent Boost related networks
Work hands-on with students: through onboarding, individual counselling, regular newsletters and emails
Collaborate with various stakeholders
Advocate for the integration of international students to Hanken and beyond
Organize events together with your colleagues from the Career Services Team
Plan and execute the Orientation Days in collaboration with the Admissions Team, Study Services and the Student Union
Co-manage the Hanken Mentorship Programme
The ideal candidate would have:
A deep interest in advocating for an inclusive working life and accessible careers for internationals in Finland
A good understanding of the job market and working life in Finland
Ability to take initiative, ownership and work & drive projects independently
Excellent collaboration skills to work with colleagues and networks nationwide
A service minded mindset
Great communication skills in both written and spoken English
We expect that you hold a higher university degree (MSc or equivalent) and a good knowledge of Swedish language. Working knowledge of Finnish is considered a merit. The job will commence upon agreement. You work in Helsinki but you also cooperate with your colleagues in Vaasa.

We value experience of similar tasks, understanding of the university sector and knowledge of Hanken.
The position is placed on demand level 9. On top of this, the salary will include a personal salary element depending on qualifications and experience. The total salary will be 3500-3900 euros /month.
