We are looking to expand our team with an experienced Media Researcher. The ideal candidate will join a team of professionals in the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Helsinki. We are looking for an analytical individual to conduct research and analysis on Media's different platforms, and to report on their findings.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and prepare daily, weekly and periodic media reports
- Analyze visual, audio, and printed media for political, economic and social topics
- Monitor and analyze different information and news
- Monitor and write reports
- Monitor and report on relevant statements, news, and policies
- Liaise with journalists and media on upcoming stories
- Ad hoc related duties as they are assigned from time to time

Requirements:

- Previous work experience in Media, Mass Communication, Journalism and/or in Government
- Degree in a related field.
- Proven experience as a Media Researcher or similar role in a policy or government agency
- Portfolio of work, including published articles
- Experience using statistical analysis software and qualitative/quantitative research tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Very organized and detail oriented
