This position reports to Channel Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for an Area Sales Specialist to join the regional domestic sales team at ABB Oy, Smart Buildings division, responsible for sales in greater Helsinki region.
In this role, you will get the opportunity to drive the sales performance of ABB smart solutions, such as wiring accessories and installation material, consumer units, home automation and your key focus is electrical installer channel. You will showcase your expertise in defining and executing the marketing and sales strategies to capture market share and ensure profitable and sustainable growth. Each day, you will be working closely with local ABB sales units as well as end customers and different sales channels.
The location for the position is in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. Work requires willingness to travel in Finland.
The work model for the role is: hybrid #Li-Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
Customer relationship management: Creating and maintaining strong customer relationships and increasing current market share. Identifying new opportunities and driving sales pipeline to meet yearly targets
Sales responsibility of named customers in greater Helsinki area (Smart Buildings products)
Marketing and promotion activities of new and existing solutions to enhance customers productivity and customer experience
Active customer engagement via frequent contacting and visits
You will join a motivated and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role
Ability to build professional networks of business stakeholders is essential
You enjoy communicating and presenting, and have ability to demonstrate your negotiating skills
You have a customer-oriented mindset, and you are a team player with great social skills
You are at ease communicating in Finnish and English. Other language skills would be an advantage
Ideally, you have technical understanding and knowledge of building segment electrification and automation
Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is an advantage
Readiness to travel in Finland
