PROJECT MANAGER

With responsibility to drive a complex Nanocomp Light Guide and Light Management Film product development as well as joint development projects with customers from conception to mass production.

Responsibilities

Creates and manages (initiate, plan, execute, control, close) project plans utilizing project management tools based on project goals as stated in the technical proposal and input from business development
Defines resource requirements; assembles project team; creates functional project sub-teams
Leads the project team. Delegates roles and responsibilities appropriately among project team members. Motivates team members. Facilitates conflict resolution, decision making, and risk mitigation within the project team and sub-teams
Prepares the internal project team for customer interactions; leads meetings between internal and customer project teams
Writes continuation proposals and scope changes
Ensures the project adheres to the terms of the contract. Translates contract terms to project execution. Maintains awareness of contract provisions for assigned project and interacts with the legal group
Participates in the development of agreements and contract terms related to project requirements

Requirements

B. Sc. or M.Sc. degree from a relevant field
5+ years experience of project business
Ability to facilitate and interact in a cross-functional team environment
Proactive and systematic way of working
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Willingness to travel
Experience in electromechanical products business and volume product introductions
