A hull fitter for assembling metal structures must know:

Types of work
A hull fitter for assembling metal structures performs the following types of work:
3.1. Cylindrical tanks and vessels operating under pressure up to 30 MPa (up to 300 kgf/sq. cm) - assembly and hydraulic testing.
3.2. Parts made of sheet and strip steel - marking according to a template, editing.
3.3. Sheet steel parts - bending.
3.4. Parts made of high-quality steel of all profiles with a thickness of up to and over 6 mm - cutting, chopping.
3.5. Various parts - filing of free sizes, cutting at angles, drilling according to markings.
3.6. Small-sized casings - assembly.
3.7. Caps, lids, brushes, vessels, funnels, boxes, cabinets of all sizes - preparation, straightening and assembly of parts for welding.
3.8. Sheet and profile metal - drilling, cutting with guillotine and press shears, joining for welding.
3.9. Strip and twisted metal - bending and cleaning after gas cutting.
3.10. Butt plates, stiffeners, temporary bolts - installation.
3.11. Supports and frames for devices - assembly.
3.12. Gaskets of simple and complex configurations made of sheet steel, cardboard, asbestos, clinoherite, rubber - cutting and cutting according to markings manually.
3.13. Staples made of material of different sections - flexible in the device.
3.14. Welded racks - assembled for welding.
