Project Manager (Industry)

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead industrial projects of the Industry Business Unit. In this position, you can work at Elomatic office in Espoo, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Tampere or Turku, Finland. Your job description includes working as a Project Manager for design and/or implementation projects mainly in process and energy industry sectors.

We are looking for project management and industrial investment project professionals who can lead multidisciplinary design projects and/or EPCM projects from design to implementation.

What we expect from you:

• Several years of experience in project management of multidiscipline design projects
• Experience in project scheduling, cost monitoring and reporting
• General understanding of different design disciplines and design coordination
• The ability to lead a project team with a positive approach, responsibly and in a solution-oriented way
• A safety- and quality-oriented mindset
• Understanding of technical production processes and technology in different industries
• Suitable technical competence (B.Sc, M.Sc or similar)
• Willingness and ability to work in the customer interface as well as good communication and negotiation skills
• Good written and oral skills in Finnish and English are crucial for job
• Willingness to travel

It is an advantage if you have experience in the following areas of projects:

• Site operations, such as installation supervision or commissioning
• Technology procurements, contracts and related negotiations
• Energy technology and projects related to energy
• Interfaces between authorities, equipment and service suppliers, contractors and plant users
