CMI is now seeking a Communications Officer to join its Communications and Private Fundraising Team.

We are looking for a communications expert with at least three years of experience, a proven track record in managing communications strategies, producing high-quality content, and coordinating events. Your key responsibilities:
- Produce larger and smaller events when working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Develop and execute multichannel communication strategies to increase CMI's visibility and impact.
- Produce high-quality content for various platforms, ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with CMI's mission and values.
- Handle project management duties, including budgeting, tracking progress, and reporting on outcomes.
- Lead collaborative projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Network effectively to build relationships that support CMI's communication objectives.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant skills and at least three to five years of practical experience from strategic communications and event production.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to coordinate and deliver complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Proficiency in planning, implementing, and optimizing communication strategies.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Finnish.
- Experience in content creation for multiple platforms and channels.
- A highly independent and proactive approach to work, with the ability to make decisions and drive initiatives forward.
- Strong networking skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Prepared to travel occasionally.
- Have a problem-solving, can-do attitude combined with good co-operative skills.
- Commit to CMI values and principles of neutrality.

The Communications Officer reports to the Head, Communications and Private Fundraising. The position is located in Helsinki and requires a work permit to work in the EU. CMI's main working language is English.
