Founded in 2003, Munax has built its success around innovation, high food safety and responsibility. Today, Munax is the leading supplier of shell eggs and processed, pasteurized egg products in Finland. We operate also in the export business. We employ approximately 115 employees and our turnover in 2023 was approximately €60 million. Munax Oy is a part of the Danish DAAEG group, which has operations in Denmark, Finland and in Sweden. We produce our products in Finland, from eggs from Finnish family farms. Our eggs and egg products can be found in retail stores, food service and as ingredients in several food products.

We are currently seeking for an experienced electrician to work as a

Maintenance Technician

to work at our Laitila site. At the site we work as a team of 5 employees including Antti, the team leader. As you can imagine, in the team of this size, you are expected to operate on both areas: mechanical and electrical.

At the site we pack eggs, and prepare value added products out of the eggs. This means in practice that we have at the site a lot of automation: conveyor belts, sensors, measurement equipment for temperature, flow, pressure, fluid level etc. In addition to that, we have similar type of technology as in many dairy companies: plate and tube heat exchangers, homogenizers, cable top carton packaging machine, palleting robots etc. But we have also equipment, which are unique only for the egg business: quality sorting and packing machines for eggs or high-pressure pasteurization technology. Based on this, maybe the long term experience on the electrical installations for the new properties is not the best possible background for this position.

We work in the environment where high hygiene standards are applied. This means a lot of changing the clothes and shoes, washing hands and ensuring the hygiene of the hand tools in addition for the preventive maintenance duties as well as seeking the errors and fixing them. Because of this, we prefer having former experience from the food industry.

Over 50% of our employees are professionals from somewhere else than from Finland. This means in practice, inclusive behavior is needed. Everyone's viewpoint is counted. The first step to the inclusion is communication, which means using English on a daily basis should be part of your skills. In addition to that, we use pen and paper, our hands and sometimes google translator. Therefore this job ad is not in English just for fun.

We work in the 2 shifts 5 days a week and apply the collective agreement for the agricultural industries. Total annual taxable incomes are between 30 000 -40 000 euros including shift allowances and possible overtime work.
