As a Structural Engineer at Neteram Oy, specializing in structural columns, you will be responsible for designing column structures, ensuring they meet specified dimensions and strength requirements. This role involves utilizing strength calculators and implementing ready-made solutions to streamline the design process. Additionally, this position will require occasional travel to project sites for assessments, consultations, and collaboration with clients and manufacturing teams.

Work tasks

• Utilize strength calculators and design software to dimension column structures according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, including dimensions, materials specifications, and assembly instructions, for the fabrication of column structures.
• Perform structural analysis and simulations to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
• Generate technical documentation and reports to communicate design specifications, calculations, and recommendations.

We are looking for

• Bachelor's/Master's degree of Science or Engineer
• Previous experience in similar tasks
• Proven experience in steel structure design
• Proficiency in English with effective communication skills
• Motivation towards project management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

It is meritorious if you have

• Finnish language skills
