Valmet is looking for a global mobility enthusiast to join our fabulous team of global mobility professionals. We are looking for a mobility professional who enjoys challenges and wants to learn something new every day.
As part of Valmet´s Global Mobility team, you will support our capital business with cross-border projects and assignments. You will be responsible for instructing and supporting our global project business with e.g. immigration, international income taxation and social security issues connected to cross-border assignments. You will create instructions of the compliant way to operate in the project countries and ensure that assignments are completed according to rules and regulations. Your tasks will include working closely with Valmet´s group taxation team, finance and local HR teams. This role provides you an excellent opportunity to develop Valmet´s global mobility process, practices and guidelines.
Your understanding of international individual income tax, work permits, and social security processes is excellent, and you know how to instruct and support project management, assignees and HR in this field. At Valmet global projects are our bread and butter which means that you will have an unique opportunity to work in the core of Valmet´s business and can learn about the global project business every day.
To succeed in this role, you
• have a proven track record of global mobility related processes, preferably regarding short term/project assignments and international individual income taxation
• know how to engage your stakeholders and get results in a virtual, matrixed environment
• have a customer oriented and proactive mindset combined with analytical thinking
• are able to work with details and tight schedules
• communicate and present in a precise and inspiring manner in English and in Finnish/Swedish. Fluent Swedish is a great benefit
• have the needed basics in place: a university degree in personnel administration or equivalent, see commitment and can-do attitude as your personal trademark.

You report to Manager, Global Mobility and work closely together with Business Line / Area HR Business Partners and global HR functions. You can be located in one of Valmet’s main locations in Tampere, Jyväskylä or Järvenpää. Please note that Valmet is building a completely new, shared office building in the Tikkurila district of Vantaa for its employees currently working in Järvenpää and some of its employees currently working in Hakkila, Vantaa. We will move into the new offices in early 2025.
