Senior or Chief Design Engineer, Electrical Engineering

We are strengthening our organization and are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to our office in Espoo, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Tampere or Turku.  

You will be part of our electrical, instrumentation and automation engineering team that serves our industrial customers in their investment projects.

Your main task includes engineering and specification of industrial electrical systems with power supply, distribution system and process electrification for our customers’ industrial investment projects. The main focus of your position will be on system level expertise including cost estimations for investments. Your task will also include leading the electrical team in projects and creating our customers' procurement specifications and programmes for electrification. Close cooperation and communication skills with various expert organizations are a must. The role can also be modified to meet your possible special skills.

What we expect from you

• suitable technical competence (e.g. Bachelor or Master of Engineering in electrical engineering)
• positive attitude and social character with consultative mindset
• knowledge in high, medium and low voltage systems in industrial factory and production environment
• experience in electrical equipment cost estimations and ability to estimate engineering costs
• experience in network studies and calculations of electrical distribution systems
• project management and supervision skills
• fluency in both English and Finnish (spoken and written)
• work experience in similar positions minimum 3 years
• experience in high voltage (e.g. 110kV) systems is considered an advantage
