Senior Engineer or Consultant, Automation

We are strengthening our organization and are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer or Consultant to our office in Espoo, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Tampere or Turku.  

You will be part of our electrical, instrumentation and automation engineering team that serves our industrial customers in their investment projects.

Your main task includes engineering and specification of modern and maintainable factory-level automation systems (DSC) including system architecture for our customers’ investment projects. The focus of your position will be on system level expertise and SCADA solutions of automation. Your task will also include leading and creating our customers' procurement specifications and programmes. Close cooperation and communication skills with various expert organizations are a must. The role can also be modified to meet your possible special skills.

What we expect from you

• suitable technical competence (e.g. Master of Engineering in automation technology)
• positive attitude and social character with consultative mindset
• experience in DCS, PLC, SCADA and HMI solutions and implementations
• deep automation system knowledge, preferably Siemens technologies
• experience in automation equipment and licensing cost estimations and ability to estimate engineering costs
• fluency in both English and Finnish (spoken and written)
• work experience in similar positions minimum 3 years
• IT/OT knowledge in automation is considered an advantage
• cyber security knowledge is considered an advantage
