Would you be our new Project HSE Engineer?
We're currently seeking a Project HSE Engineer for our client Neste. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a skilled team, collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Supported by the team your responsibilities will primarily involve participating in various types of risk analyses. Depending on your background, you may initially start as a coordinator in facilitated meetings, gradually progressing to lead facilitation and reporting duties, all the while learning from seasoned colleagues. Directly contributing to the achievement of safety objectives throughout project lifecycles, this role offers hands-on involvement in shaping safer solutions, spanning from Fire Safety to Process Hazard Analyses and encompassing Environmental and construction safety considerations.
This position is located in Kilpilahti, with possibility to also work remotely or from our Espoo office.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a candidate with a bachelor's degree in chemical or process engineering. Prior experience in similar roles or in Hazop facilitation is considered as an advantage. Proficiency in reading Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is essential as they will play a significant role in your work. In this position you will need fluent proficiency in English, Finnish language skills are considered as an asset.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, passionate about safety, and capable of adapting to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
