Project Buyer, Vaasa

We are looking for a buyer to join our client company in the energy technology sector, responsible for managing the procurement process for entire projects. Kuvaus

In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement processes of various projects, ensuring that materials and services are acquired efficiently, on time, and competitively. The project as a whole is outlined in collaboration with the project manager and lead designer, after which the product-related procurements will be part of your responsibilities.

Work tasks

• Planning and implementing project-specific procurement strategies
• Supplier selection, evaluation, and relationship development for specific products
• Optimizing costs and delivery times
• Collaborating with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders

We are looking for

• Relevant technical or commercial education background
• Experience in procurement tasks, especially project procurement
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Fluent English skills; proficiency in Finnish or Swedish is a plus
• Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
