PLM Deployment & Data Migration manager

In this role your primary responsibility is to oversee the deployment of the ARAS PLM-based solution developed by MacGregor across various locations and product lines. With in-depth knowledge of PLM systems, experience in global implementations, and proficiency in deploying other technical software applications, this role focuses on planning and coordinating multiple deployment projects.

Success in this position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders, including IT, Engineering, Product Management, and business units, to ensure the PLM system fully supports business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall planning responsibility of PLM rollouts at different locations and product lines worldwide 

• Coordination of deployment activities together with the development team, always taking the business requirements and adoption into account

• Present progress, risks and issues with solution proposals to the Project Steering group

• Ensure that the ARAS PLM system gets fully deployed, implemented and functioning.

• Execute Change Management activities towards the global deployment of PLM in the organisation.

• Coordination of MacGregor PLM related data migration activities

Skills and Experience

Having the attitude of 'I am here to help you' and being a very process driven person. An experienced team player with broad technical IT knowledge and experience from the Engineering domain, in particular PLM and Data. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite. Readiness to bring the best practices and benchmarking opportunities from the industry to the business. As we are a dynamic organisation we expect you to adapt and respond to change rapidly.

Skills and experience that would help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, computer science, software engineering or otherwise proven capability of being able to successfully master the position   

• 5+ years of experience of relevant engineering- and other systems

• Hands-on experience with PLM system deployments and migration activities

• Strong interest in project work and development of processes and IT systems

• Strong coordination skills, capability to drive development tasks in schedule cross-functionally

• Collaborative, team oriented with strong communication and training skills
