We are currently looking for a motivated and service-minded
HR GENERALIST
for our client INEOS Composites in Porvoo, Finland. In this position, you will be employed directly for Ineos. The role is a part-time (approx. 15 hours a week) position. The specific working days can be flexibly negotiated. Success in this role will require continuous physical presence at the office site so remote work is not possible. You will report to the EMEA HR Leader who is based in Spain.
In this role, you will apply your HR expertise and problem-solving skills to support INEOS’ HR operations in Finland. You will take responsibility of HR functions by supporting, implementing, amending and administrating HR policies and guidelines. You will also act as a bridge for employees, supervisors and managers in HR-related matters. Your responsibility area consists of 55 professionals working in Finland’s business plant?
What You’ll Be Doing?
- Interpret local labor regulations, legislation and policies as well as provide advice and guidance on recruitment, on boarding, restructuring and redeployment processes and company procedures.
- Coordinate and handle payroll data and documentation to external parties to ensure that salaries are paid correctly and in time
- Facilitate and administer the flow of information and data internally as well as provide necessary reports
- Support in other HR related operations e.g. employee record administration, employment policies, employee and stakeholder communications and employee experience
What You Need to Succeed?
- BSc/MSc level degree from a relevant field e.g. HR, Leadership, Business Management or similar
- Preferably a generalist background from HR operations from at least 2-3 years with versatile experience of human resource disciplines
- Preferably experience and ability to interpret Finnish labor laws, policies and collective agreements
- Fluency in both English and Finnish while you will be expected to communicate with both languages (oral and written)
- Problem-solving skills and passion to tackle HR-related challenges independently and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a service-minded attitude is crucial
