As a subsidiary of Mehiläinen, the leading private healthcare company in Finland, BeeHealthy draws on 110+ years of experience in healthcare and 20+ years of experience in developing digital services and software in house. BeeHealthy is offering its digital health care know-how and proven software solutions to help other health care providers take their digital leap. BeeHealthy has just started its journey and is in a strong growth mode. We have over 30 developers and build on a modern tech infrastructure to serve customers around the world.

Currently we are over 80 BeeHealthy professionals in Finland and Estonia and expanding rapidly. As we are now growing our dynamic team again, we need your help to achieve our next goals within international clients. This is truly your chance to build our support and testing capacity for the next chapter of Mehiläinen.

Your key responsibilities will include:  

• Ownership of architectural decisions with the developers and Lead developer. Prioritize and manage the overall frontend backlog. 
• Lead and oversee all activities related to frontend development within BeeHealthy​. 
• Promote frontend best practices and advocating consistency of frontend development guidelines across team boundaries. 
• Close collaboration between other experts regarding product quality so that the front-end application meets the non-functional requirements.  
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, backend developers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of projects ensuring that the right things get done at the right time. 
• Support of leading technical cross-team specifications meetings and ensuring that the specifications are in order together with the frontend developers.  
• Support of mentoring and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.​ 
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and incorporate them when beneficial. 
• Participate in the hiring process of new frontend developers and support onboard of new team members.

What we wish from you: 

• Deep understanding of TypeScript and React ecosystem
• The role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership abilities, management skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills​ 
• Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques
• Familiarity with backend development and understanding of full-stack architecture
• Experience with mobile-responsive and cross-browser development 
• Experience in management tasks (e.g. facilitation skills, roadmap planning, resourcing)
