Are you ready to take Fibox to the next level and want to lead goal-oriented, measurable, and framed R&D operations for Fibox?
We are looking for a driven professional to lead Fibox Research & Development function, focusing on developing Fibox Offerings in the Enclosure and EV Charging businesses. You will be part of the Fibox Offering & Marketing Management team driving innovation and developing Fibox’s products and services to serve our customers even better. In your role you supervise our mechanical designers and, in a matrix, lead our EV charging R&D unit. As a leader, your goal is to take an active approach to developing the team and global cooperation and utilizing cross-functional expertise. Do you have an analytical & process-oriented mindset, a proven track record in product development or product management of technical products, and enjoy traveling occasionally both in Finland and abroad? Our main production sites and product development are located in Lempäälä, and our head office is in Keilaniemi, Espoo. The position is located in Lempäälä, where regular visits to the head office, and some traveling globally are part of the role.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute Fibox’s research and development strategy to support business objectives and drive growth
Keep all relevant functions up-to-date on ongoing projects and their progress
Lead, develop, and mentor the team of designers and engineers to develop new products, enhance existing products, and drive innovation in the industry
Define and prioritize research and development projects, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, supply chain, and marketing
Ensure a successful product development process, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to execution & tool sourcing
Coordinate Fibox IPR portfolio and claim handling with an external partner
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external & internal stakeholders and vendors and stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies & material developments

Qualifications:
Strong experience in technical product development or product management
Engineering degree from the relevant field
Experience in a managerial role in an area of product development or product management
Experience in operational development, change management and team building
Leadership and influencing skills in a matrix organization with a coaching touch
Fluent English and Finnish language skills, both spoken and written
Good communication and organizational skills
