Department Assistant, GE Grid Solutions Oy

Do you want to be part of a company that is changing the world? GE Grid Solutions Oy (GE Vernova) is seeking a proactive problem-solver to join their team as a Department Assistant in Tampere. You will act as a point of contact among management, colleagues, external partners, vendors and government contacts and offer support in everyday office functions.

Your tasks may include, for example:

• travel arrangements and travel expense report coordination
• managing everyday office routines (office supplies orders etc.)
• supporting After Sales -department in SAP-activities
• administrating local work management tools
• new hire onboarding processes / leaving employee processes
• assisting and executing various team activities, employee meetings, events, etc.
• acting as the local IT-contact with the help of the company's IT-department

What is needed to succeed:

• excellent problem-solving skills
• excellent people skills and willingness to support and help others
• excellent IT-skills (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams etc. If you have skills in SAP, that is a great plus, but it's not mandatory)
• resourcefulness and a proactive approach to your work
• interest in office administration procedures and motivation to act as an office generalist
• fluency in Finnish and English

The selected person will be employed by Adecco but will work in the team and premises of GE Grid Solutions in Tampere. The work starts as soon as possible, and we can offer a fixed-term contract of at least one year, with the possibility of extension. The working hours are flexible (starting between 7.00-9.00 and ending between 15.00-17.00) on weekdays, so you can work according to the schedule that suits you best.
