Job Description
Capgemini Finland’s Cloud & Custom Applications unit is an innovative team leading the development of cloud and DevOps solutions and services. The Business Environment
You will be joining the Cloud & Custom Applications unit which provides world class Cloud, DevOps and project execution services to its customers.

The Role
As Cloud Application Development Team Manager, you will be leading a team of highly talented and skilled cloud developers. You will grow the team by hiring best-in-class professionals and will be responsible for their continuous competence development. Through your inspirational leadership you will nurture a team of professionals enabling Capgemini to provide world class services to its customers.
A necessary part in this role is also to act as a senior consultant in select customer assignments. In these assignments you will work, for example, as an application or delivery architect.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a Cloud Application Development team
Recruiting and retaining the right professionals
Continuously uplifting competences of the team by identifying and promoting training and certification possibilities
Acting in an architect or delivery role in select customer engagements, and occasionally participating in pre-sales solution selling activities
Identifying and implementing opportunities to further increase Capgemini growth and customer presence
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
A true passion and willingness to lead people - Being a people-person at heart
Experience in leading engineering teams, preferably from consulting practices
Proven track record of working with application development and related technologies
Knowledge of lean and agile delivery methodologies
Knowledge of modern architecture paradigms (e.g. microservices, serverless) and all aspects of DevOps
Experience from working in Cloud / DevOps projects
Fluent command of both Finnish and English languages
We also appreciate if you have/are :
A passion for technology, always maintaining yourself up-to-date with the latest technology trends
Knowledge of major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of AI and/or ML in a development context
An ability to deep dive in technical aspects and then address the big picture, also with business stakeholders
Proactive, optimist, motivated, and able to transfer these skills also to your team members
