Are you passionate about driving growth through customer-centric insights and data-driven strategies? Join us as a Category Manager for the Finnish Market! In this role you’ll cultivate valuable partnerships with key customers to shape and drive the category’s strategic direction. You’ll leverage analytics and data to provide actionable insights that enhance shopper engagement, inspire behavior change, and fuel sales growth.
In this role, you will report to our Regional Category Manager and be based at Paulig Group's headquarters in Vuosaari, Finland.
Key tasks in this role:
- Customer & Shopper-Centric Insights: Cultivate strong customer relationships by providing actionable insights into shopper behaviors, trends, and category performance, using data-driven storytelling to inspire and influence.
- Strategic & Tactical Planning: Shape category direction by adapting global strategies into locally relevant plans focused on assortment, pricing, promotions, and placement to drive growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth Identification: Partner closely with sales and marketing to maximize category potential, identifying growth opportunities and crafting propositions that enhance customer value and profitability.
- Promotions & Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize analytics to optimize product assortments, pricing, and shelf placement while identifying promotions that boost sales, visibility, and align with strategic goals.
- Support for Product Development: Provide consumer-focused insights to guide new product development that aligns with evolving shopper needs.

What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or category management roles within an international environment. A diverse background is seen as an advantage.
- We value your experience in FMCG as well as your established network within the retail industry.
- Strong strategic and tactical business understanding
- Skilled in structured and pragmatic problem-solving
- Strong analytical abilities
- Demonstrated ability as a strong team player
- Effective leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities
- Relevant educational background (e.g. Master’s degree in business administration)
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
