Experis Digital Workspace is the IT services unit of the ManpowerGroup. In Finland, we provide Local Support, Service Desk and Lifecycle Services with 200 experts nationwide. Due to the rapidly growing number of existing customers and new opportunities we are now seeking a new permanent

Bid Manager

to support all our business units throughout the bidding process. Majority of your time will be allocated to our Digital Workspace business unit and therefore previous experience/understanding in outsourced IT services business and contract expertise would be expected from the ideal candidate. The location of the role is in our office either in Helsinki or Tampere City Central.

Previous experience in the public and private sector IT Service tendering process either in a similar role on the service provider side, or alternatively on the contracting entity side, for example in a procurement or contract management specialist role, will be an advantage for the candidate. Also studies in contract law or legal design or similar areas would help in successful management of your role as a BID Manager.

Overall responsibilities:

- Support in BID Process: Support the business Units with the BID process and acting as a specialist on contracts in relation to tendering material, contract negotiations, and the Group BID process validations.

- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with bids, including legal, financial, and operational risks, and develop mitigation

- Bid Coordination: Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, legal, and subject matter experts to ensure all aspects of the bid are well-coordinated and meet client expectations.

- Proposal Preparation: Support the business units in the creation of high-quality bid proposals, including writing, editing, and formatting documents, ensuring they are clear, compelling, and compliant with all client requirements.

- Market Research: Stay informed about industry standards and trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to improve BID competitiveness.

What should you bring in?

- Proven experience in tendering process preferably in private and public sector businesses.

- Contract law knowledge or strong experience in contract negotiations and IT service standards.

- Experience and understanding of IT outsourcing business.

- Fluency in spoken and written Finnish and English is an absolute prerequisite for success in the role, due to the linguistic nature of the tender and contract materials handled.

- Creativity and ability to solve problems and resolve issues independently

- Knowledge of relevant IT Services industry standards and regulations.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency and experience to present and convince.

- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

- Detail-oriented and methodical.

- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to work with multilateral groups and teams.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Team player with the ability to work together in an international organization.

- Hands-on approach with good diplomatic eye.
