Frends is a dynamic, rapidly growing IT business on a mission to become a global leader in iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service). We are now seeking a Finance Manager to join our finance team in Finland to manage our finance operations and support our global growth.

As Finance Manager, you will play a central role in managing our finance operations as well as developing efficient and scalable processes supporting our international growth. You will lead Frends Technology Oy's finance team comprising Controller, Accountant, and Payroll Specialist, and you report to Frends' CFO. As our team is compact, this is a broad role with a mix of hands-on financial administration and development work, and you will also be collaborating closely with the management team, sales, regional directors as well as external partners.

Key responsibilities

-Management and practical execution of our finance-related operational processes (e.g. you will play central role in signing on and setting up invoicing for new SaaS customers).
-Providing practical hands-on support to the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment.
-Act as key user of our financial system and related ERP-modules.
-Collaborate with sales and operations to develop efficient financial processes as we continue to grow internationally.
-Develop reporting and analytical capabilities in cooperation with the CFO, finance team, and other key internal stakeholders.
-Perform ad hoc analysis and tasks and act as a trusted partner to the CFO.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a new colleague who is hands-on, proactive, flexible, as well as committed in their approach. You should be comfortable with a flat organizational structure and thrive in a dynamic, globally-focused IT environment. We are looking for someone with a passion for financial management who is eager to collaborate with our team to achieve shared success.

-A solid understanding of financial management and its best practices.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
-A relevant educational background (e.g. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business
-Administration or a related field).
-Ability to lead a team with a hands-on approach.
-Strong communication, analytical, and cooperative skills.
-Fluency in English and Finnish. Although remote work is commonplace in our company, you should be based in Finland and be able to work at our Espoo office on a weekly basis.
