Are you an experienced HR Project Manager looking for new challenges? Join Uponor HR team to lead in shaping our global HR projects and processes. In this role, you will provide crucial support to leadership of multiple and/or highly complex HR related projects to help Corporate, Divisional, and Business Unit HR strategies and goals. You will be part of the Corporate HR Team and a key member of Uponor's global HR network. You will report directly to the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and you can be located in any European city but preferably in Germany, Finland or Sweden, or in the Minneapolis, MN USA location. Our working environment is hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
Leading global project teams from scope creation and development through final implementation.
Developing detailed project plans, resource and budget estimates and status reports.
Managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables, if applicable to project.
Rolling out key HR related projects, globally by coordinating with HR network.
Serving as a liaison between the project team and other business departments as needed.
Leading team collaboration in the preparation of project scope requirements and approval from business sponsors and key stakeholders. Also managing significant project changes or scope creep according to organizational policies.
Establishing partnership with key project business units: resource managers and stakeholders.
Seeking out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.
We require our Project Manager to have a strong background in independent and responsible HR work, including experience in supporting developmental projects from an HR perspective. Ideally, you have worked in an international environment and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and be adept at handling challenging situations. We seek proactive individuals who drive results and actively contribute to organizational development. You must have a genuine passion for working with people and a solution-oriented approach. Your management style should reflect respect, inspiration, and a commitment to fostering a culture of empathy and fairness.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts, Science, or Business Administration from an accredited institution is required.
8+ years' experience as a project manager or within HR overseeing concurrent and or highly complex or specialized projects.
Excellent attention to detail and advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project. PWA a plus.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead and take ownership of assigned initiatives and responsibilities, and appropriately prioritize.
Mastered ability to effectively collaborate with teams/individuals across business.
Proven troubleshooting abilities to get to the source of problems and think critically regarding possible solutions.
Excellent communication skills.
Inspiring curiosity to innovate and improve ways of working.
