We are now looking for a result driven Sales Manager to join our team at Energy Industries in Vaasa, Helsinki, or Pirkkala. In this role, you will define, plan and implement strategies for excitation products, systems and services in the Northern Europe power generation, industrial and hydrogen markets. A key part of this role will be close customer collaboration in line with the regional product and sales strategies, which is why the travel expectation for the job is around 70 days annually. In this role you will be supported by and work together with both our local sales organization and global excitation sales team. Your responsibilities
Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the Northern European go-to–market strategy per country while defining and communicating the value propositions and product details to customers directly in cooperation with local sales organizations
Building long term confidential customer relationships, identifying early-stage customer needs and creating sales opportunities based on them
Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process by creating added value for our customers based on Energy Industries offering and solutions.
Creating demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach to customers, channels and partners
Gaining understanding on customer needs in the market by visiting customers and collecting feed-back from sales and product management
Your background
Several years of experience in sales and building long-term customer relations
Previous experience or knowledge of energy industries and excitation systems
Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling
A B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree from a technical field such as electrical / automation engineering or similar
Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
Customer-oriented mindset with excellent networking capabilities, result driven personality and a passion to close deals
Willingness and ability to travel to meet our customers, approximately 70 days a year
Fluency in Swedish is considered an advantage
