Lead Designer, Digital Platform, Sanoma B2B

We are looking for a Lead Designer to join the Digital Platform team in Sanoma B2B. The team is in charge of developing and commercializing Sanoma Ad Manager, a self-service portal for purchasing Sanoma's digital ad offering.

Sanoma Ad Manager aims to be the easiest and fastest way for an advertizer, big or small, to get their campaigns online in the Sanoma ad network. The users can also monitor, optimize and report their campaigns in the portal in real-time.

As Lead Designer you will join a dynamic team committed to driving the growth and continuous evolvement of Ad Manager. Your role is pivotal in ensuring an outstanding user experience for our customers. You use your experience and deep knowledge of UX design to lead the design process, working closely with POs, designers, developers and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Making sure Ad Manager provides a top-level user experience for its customers, both visually and in terms of ease of use.
• Leading the UX/UI: identifying customer needs that drive requirements for UX, designing and driving the needed changes, conducting user testing, and analysing the impact of the implemented changes
• In this position, you'll work as a Senior Designer, responsible for both owning and developing UX and design processes.
  • Generating UX-level concepts for selecting the most viable for production
    • Producing wireframes and mock-ups as a part of the design process
  • Managing UI design and preparing it for the development through SAFe process
  • Overseeing design implementation in the actual product by collaborating closely with developers
• Planning longer-term strategic UX/UI work, while supporting short-term design tasks related to user interface design.
• Working in interaction with Ad Manager customers in order to ensure a customer-centric approach.
• Participating in the development of Sanoma B2B's other self-service channels.

Required Skills:

• A high level of expertise in UX design / Digital Product design
• Skilled in producing layouts in Figma
• Proven experience in collaborating with cross functional development teams
• A deep understanding of web design and user-centered design methodologies.
• Innovative, with the ability to solve complex design problems.
• The ability to conduct user interviews in Finnish.
