Summer Trainee, Innovation Specialist

We are looking for a Innovation Specialist to join our Innovation Management team in Hyvinkää. As a summer trainee you will be working with ideators to develop their ideas in our idea portal by gathering relevant information from several sources and executing Global Open to ideas program for summer trainees. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility to work partly remotely.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for an university student who is eager to learn more about front end of innovation and product development tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• 2nd-4th year student in a technical university (a technical major in product development, mechatronics, electrics or similar, and a business minor in industrial management, marketing, or similar)

• Basic understanding of mechanics and electrics from your studies

• Basic knowledge and interest in innovation management and innovation methods and tools

• Good collaboration and communication skills, and willingness to give small presentations

• You know how to use traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
