Job Description Summary
As a Summer Intern- Software Engineer you get to develop solutions and new features for a medical product. You will help to develop the data handling and user interface for an ambulatory hub: a wearable, mobile, battery powered patient monitoring device that interprets and routes physiological data (e.g. Electrocardiogram, Pulse Oxygenation, and non-invasive blood pressure) from cable-less sensors to the network infrastructure in hospitals. The multi-touch user interface shall display physiological data including numeric, waveform, historical data (trends) and alerts.

Job Description
Responsibilities
design, develop and/or maintain features in C++
collaborate with engineering teams through design & code reviews, planning and retrospectives and other development activities
develop unit and integration tests for the system
document requirements, designs, processes
report defects in product design and participate in technical reviews
Qualifications and experience
Studying a bachelor’s or higher degree in Software or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with C++, OOAD
Practical experience developing on Linux platform
Good communication and teamwork skills
EU work permit
Fluent in written and spoken English
Desirable skills
Experience with QT/QML
Experience with GIT/Gerrit
Experience with Yocto Linux
Experience with Python, Robot Framework
