Manager, Connected Services

About the role

Marioff Service and Aftermarket team is looking for a new colleague for the permanent position of Manager, Connected Services. In this role, you will be leading the connected service offerings strategy and frameworks, implement strategic initiatives and follow-up actions. You will play a key role in coordinating the new developments between different teams and you will be driving the implementation and benefit realization together with business unit organizations.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute connected services strategy to maximize adoption and paid subscription of connected services with both new sales and with large installed base of Marioff

• Full-chain ownership of Marioff Connected Services end-to-end journey: go-to-market strategies, offering, sales, field operations and customer success management

• Creating program development roadmap, budget and resourcing across organizational structures

• Work closely with pilot customers and sales teams to develop and formulate robust value propositions, proposals, presentations and execution strategies to enable multi-year BluEdge subscription and service sales

• Successful launch and commercialization of the HI-FOG intelligence and upcoming connected services

• Actively benchmarking industry practices and securing competitiveness of Marioff Connected Services

• Active participation in the Marioff Service and Aftermarket leadership team to expedite the growth

• Embody The Carrier Way and work according to Carrier Ethics and Compliance policies at all times

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or other suitable education

• Passionate about digital services and holistic understanding and vision on where connected services should be developed in the B2B context

• Relevant experience in developing and growing digital service business, and related service offering, sales & field operations

• Good understanding of the principles of the underlying technologies for industrial IoT, cloud services, and data analytics. Ability to interact in a value-adding way with development teams, to ask the right questions is considered a strong asset.

• Fluent with customers with both their engineering and management teams

• Capable of driving large projects with multiple stakeholders in a global matrix organization

• Hands-on attitude and curiosity towards new. Passion to interact with customers and co-create.

• Business-oriented mindset and desire to deliver results and set ambitious targets.

• People management skills, and managerial experience beneficial

• Flexibility and willingness to travel

• Earlier experience on marine or fire protection business is an asset

• Fluent and good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
