Enersense Engineering is currently looking for a Compliance Officer for our client in Hamina, Finland. As a Compliance Officer you will ensure that all construction related activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards. This role involves monitoring activities on our client's construction site and providing guidance to maintain compliance with local regulations.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  Ensure the organization complies with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  Monitor updates to regulations and communicate necessary changes to management and staff
  Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
  Ensure that the policies align with business objectives and legal requirements
  Conduct internal audits to identify potential compliance issues
  Identify and assess potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  Develop risk management plans and maintain a risk register
  Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of compliance activities
  Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulatory agencies as required
  Investigate compliance breaches, report findings, and recommend corrective actions
  Collaborate with legal and other departments to address violations
  Act as a liaison between the organization and external regulatory parties
  Partner with departments to integrate compliance into daily operations effectively

Requirements:
  Suitable educational background for the position
  Previous experience of similar tasks in industrial construction industry
  Strong knowledge of industrial construction specific regulations and standards in Finland
  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  Good communication and interpersonal skills
  Strong attention to detail
  Finnish and English language skills
