Your work will be mainly organized at the Hämeenlinna University Centre. Besides teaching, the professional role of a senior lecturer can also include project and applied research work when this is possible.
From you, as an applicant, we value hands-on skills within the field of computer science, a clear vision of the future trends within the IT industry, ability to work in a team, and the desire to work in a student-centric manner. While working as a senior lecturer, we expect you to possess good communication skills, a desire to adapt your teaching style to the needs of different learners, and the ability to support the delivery of our curriculum through your teaching.
We do expect you to possess a strong foundation in the fundamental skills of our field. Especially skills and knowledge in the topics of cloud computing, virtualization and DevOps are important in this role.
